General:
We are looking for a hardworking, energetic, safety and quality-minded person with a strong mechanical and basic electrical background to work in the above referenced position.
This person must be able to work well with others, independently, and with minimal supervision.
Interested candidate(s) must be able to problem solve mechanical and basic electrical issues.
Ideal candidates are ASE certified mechanics.
Wausau Tile is willing to invest in furthereducation pertaining to the role.
Applicants must maintain a safety first mentality in thought and action.
Job
Summary:
Job duties will be primarily driven by work order requests, related duties for emergency repairs and regularly scheduled preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities will include troubleshooting forklifts and motorized vehicle issues; communicating problems; providing maintenance and repair services as assigned; accurately record and submit time-keeping and work order related paperwork.
oMaintain compliance with safety and environmental policies and procedures.
oUtilize skills expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic as required.
oTroubleshooting and diagnostic work.
oRepair work including:
disassembly and part replacement oLight fabrication as required to support equipment functionality.
oProvide scheduled preventative maintenance to equipment as needed (inspection, oiling, greasing, clean, etc.
) oEffective communication with the team is critical on all shifts, with peers and leadership as required.
oProvide documentation as needed to complete work orders and send emails as needed.
oLead and support as required.
Physical Requirements:
Includes but is not limited to, prolonged periods of standing, working on a computer, bending, reaching, stretching, lifting, walking, twisting, squatting and kneeling.
Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers, knees, back shoulders and neck.
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and the like.
