30 AM Radius Contractors must be outside a 50 mile radius of Aspirus Wausau Aspirus Wausau MAP RN-Wausau, WI Guaranteed Hours Per 36 hrs Primary Location Aspirus Wausau Hospital Shift 12 hr variable day/night shifts Float to all inpatient units as needed On Call/Call Back None Weekend/Holiday Every other weekend and every other holiday Required WI RN License, BLS.
Minimum 2 years.
Trauma level II experience highly preferred.
Charting EPIC required Unit MAP Unit Medical and Pediatrics (Medical and Pediatrics travelers do not take Peds patients).
The major conditions/most frequent diagnoses Adults - respiratory illnesses, stroke, other neurological conditions (such as seizure disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, chronic back pain), gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, clotting disorders, other infectious disease processes, and acute alcohol withdrawal.
Typical patient ratios on days 1:
4-5 and on nights 1:
6-7 Desired Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social Able to manage independently and complete tasks timely, willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team and ancillary staff to ensure the best patient experience possible.
Positive attitude and flexibility with constant changes which can occur throughout a shift.
Scrub any color scrubsGSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.
Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.
